KRRK-KRRK

KRRK-KRRK Eine Kammerjäger Oper by Jessica Broscheit.
Jealousy, love and death are the central themes of this opera that tells the story of an exerminator who gets out of hand after the mysterious death of his beloved. While he draws the audience into his realm with a multifaceted libretto of loneliness, passion and his personal spiritual abyss, his thoughts as well as emotions are absorbed, overwritten and abstracted by music. A surreal room of futurism, pop and opera accrues thus constituting a reflection upon love, time, power and life within a microcosm which is the present. [2010]
